Garlic Herb Butter

If you don’t think garlic butter has the potential to elevate a dish, well I don’t think we can be friends (kidding… I think). You can be versatile with the herbs you want to add, whether it’s parsley, basil, rosemary or thyme, I just recommend fresh herbs over dried if available. Also measure with your heart on this one, there’s no strict rules.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup 1 butter or alternative

  • 4 tsp 4 minced garlic

  • 1/2 bunch 1/2 parsley (or any herbs), chopped

  • 2 tsp 2 salt

Directions

  • Mix together all the ingredients into a bowl. You can opt to use this directly or create logs.
  • To make butter logs, place the butter onto a piece of cling wrap and roll into a log. Twist the ends and either chill or freeze until hardened.

Tips & Tricks

  • I always have one of these sticks in the freezer, the herbs and garlic keep fresh and it’s easy to slice off the amount I need to use instantly.
