DIY Fruit & Nut Chocolate

I was one of those people who used to love a good fruit and nut chocolate bar, but there is something about making your own that tasted sooooo much better! Between the saltiness of pistachios, the sweetness of the dried fruits and the chunkiness, I’m easily in heaven.

Feel free to mix up the fruit and nuts as long as you have pistachios.

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup 1/4 Pistachios, shelled

  • 1/4 cup 1/4 Pecans

  • 1/4 cup 1/4 Macadamias

  • 1/8 cup 1/8 Sunflower seeds

  • 1/8 cup 1/8 Hazelnuts

  • 1/4 cup 1/4 Coconut chips, toasted

  • 1/4 cup 1/4 Dried strawberries

  • 1/4 cup 1/4 Craisins

  • 400 grams 400 Dark Chocolate

Directions

  • Toast the nuts in a fry pan for a few minutes until starting to brown. Add in the coconut flakes and toast for 30 seconds. Remove from pan.
  • Place nut mixture on a lined slice tin and put fruits on top. Melt chocolate in the microwave in 30 second bursts then pour over the top,
  • Top with edible flower sprinkles (optional) and set in the fridge for 1/2 hour.
