Back again with another simple recipe! I’m loving the challenge of coming up with simple yet accessible recipes, but I swear my waist line is getting scared of these creations
I’ve used the @myvegan_au protein pancake mixture for a protein hit, I found this mix to be an easy ratio to work with. You can use any other mix you please, just note the ratios may be different
3 Ingredient Churros

- 2 cups
Pancake mix
- 1 cup
Hot Water
- 1 TBS
Cinnamon Sugar (plus more to coat)
Oil to fry
Toppings of choice (optional)
Directions
Mix the pancake mix and 1 TBS cinnamon sugar together in a bowl, then pour in the hot water and stir until a dough forms (adjust water as necessary).
Heat the oil in a saucepan (alternatively a deep fryer or air fryer). Stuff a piping bag with a star nozzle with the dough. Once the oil is hot, pipe the churros into the oil carefully, using scissors to cut the dough off if needed. Fry for 1-2 minutes or until golden.
Roll the hot cooked churros in additional cinnamon sugar and enjoy! You can choose to add additional toppings such as chocolate if you like, they’re perfect on their own too!
