Curry Sauce Chip Butty

Do you ever have those lazy meals which are super simple and are filled with flavour? It’s okay if you are figuring those out, because I’ve got this recipe for you!

With my love for the British classic, chips with curry sauce, I’ve put it on a butty and will easily declare this the best hangover cure ever!

Super simple, super delicious, and it’s one of those go-to things when I’m super lazy but want to be satisfied with full flavour.

The chips part is pretty simple, as long as you’ve got chips and a roll you’re almost there. This sauce takes 5 minutes and uses easy ingredients.

Ingredients

  • Curry Sauce
  • Oil

  • 1/2 1/2 Onion, diced

  • 1 1 Apple, diced (or 3TBS apple sauce)

  • 1 tsp 1 Minced garlic

  • 1 TBS 1 Flour

  • 1/2 tsp 1/2 Curry powder

  • 160 ml 160 Vegetable stock

  • Pepper

Directions

  • Heat the oil in a saucepan and add onion, apple & garlic. Cook on a low-medium heat until everything has softened. Add the curry powder & flour, stir to coat. Pour in the stock and crack some pepper.
  • Bring the mixture to a simmer and cook for 5-10 minutes or until the veg is cook and it’s to the desired consistency (this takes me less time again usually).
  • Option to blend for a smoother sauce, I like the chunky consistency.
