Tzatziki

Tzatziki to me is one of those dips I tend to forget about, but when I do make it I’m remember how much I love it. It’s one of those games I find myself playing where I tell myself I need to make it more, obsess for a bit, then forget and start the cycle again.

The great thing about using coconut yoghurt is that it works as a substitute for so many dairy items in both sweet and savoury settings. I just like to add a healthy amount of salt when using it as a replacement for things like this. It makes a great sour cream replacement too!

Ingredients

  • 500 grams 500 Coconut yoghurt

  • 1 1 Cucumber, grated and juices squeezed out

  • 1 TBS 1 Olive oil

  • 3 tsp 3 Minced garlic

  • Healthy amount of salt & pepper (the more salt the better!)

Directions

  • Combine all the ingredients in a bowl and season to taste.
